Initially Maris LLC was founded as a pure chartering company to be engaged in South East Asia, Mediterranean, Baltic, Black and Caspian seas focusing on chartering of bulk and multipurpose tonnage with deadweight from 3000 mt uptil 65000 mt. Facing tough competition on chartering market we have achieved significant success by fixing upto 150000 mt of deadweight clean capacity on monthly basis.

For further growth the company was forced to start building its own stable cargo base in Russia and CIS countries by means of organization cargo movement all way long from immediate resource (material) producer down to port of discharging to final cargo receivers wherein ocean freight is a minor part of overall process but still important one.

Our vision of transportation arrangement is not just banal contractor’s appointment and its cost payment but special approach to any staff delivery like individual transportation project, itemizing all stages and control points down to 6 level even though development of sales contract for both sellers and buyer taking into account mutual interests and requirements.

The reality is like that every participant of foreign trade affairs pursues its own interest and quite rare can see whole picture. In this situation, as a matter of fact, 98% of potential deals are not realized because of various and often minor differences between the parties, which, at a certain approach, can be eliminated.
